"To modernise and perpetuate the distribution of a product that dates to the dawn of time, while preserving its traditional and 100% natural character. To hire young people, train them and make them feel good about this activity so that they can pass on their passion. Promote inclusion and diversity. To develop products with a zero impact on the planet, to contribute to the protection of the bees in the world, to favour short circuits and fair trade, all while having fun and earning a decent living."
We are all concerned and sensitive to the ethical and societal issues of our activities.
Therefore, we have built a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy around 5 objectives:
For decades, we have been commited to environmental and social issues, not only in our own business but also in that of our beekeeping partners. Thus, we are committed to the honey industry but also to preserve the future of the bees ecosystem in which they thrive.
Guaranteeing traceability means guaranteeing the origin of the honey, its variety, its purity, and the absence of contaminants in the case of organic honey.
From the jar to the hive we ensure the traceability of our honey. In order to carry out this process, we only allow honey to enter our maturation workshop if the beekeepers with whom we collaborate have caried out the traceability tests from their hives.
All honey placed in the maturing process is therefore listed and the analyses carried out are recorded.
In addition, some of our honeys carry a Label Rouge or PGI label. Through the Label Rouge honeys, we guarantee a raw product with taste and flavour. To guarantee quality to our consumers, these products are subject to a high level of control, with a check once a year by an interprofessional authority. Each honey is selected based on professional analysis by indendent laboratories.
Our organic honeys are certified by an official body recognised by the state.
During havesting, our beekeepers follow special specifications for each label (PGI, Label Rouge) as well as for organic honeys. They are then audited by certified organisations such as Ecocert or Qualisud.
In addition to the official controls, we also carry out random checks on the honey.
